The Majlis Course at Emirates Golf Club, Dubai’s first grass golf course, is an iconic 18-hole championship layout known for its lush greens and challenging design. Opened in 1988 and crafted by Karl Litten, the course is famously home to the Dubai Desert Classic, attracting the world’s best golfers annually. Over the years, modifications have enhanced its layout, giving it a challenging "championship" feel with narrow fairways, deep bunkers, and small, quick greens that demand precision from players.
The Majlis, surrounded by picturesque desert landscapes and views of Dubai's skyline, has firm, undulating fairways framed by lush rough and plenty of hazards, including water and strategically placed bunkers that will punish wayward shots. It’s a course that balances difficulty with playability, appealing to both amateurs and professionals alike.
