Course Overview
The Quinta da Ria course is situated within the Ria Formosa Natural Park, and lies adjacent to its sister course, Quinta de Cima in the Eastern Algarve, close to the border with Spain. Offering stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Cacela Velha Beach, this par-72 course is characterised by strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, providing a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all levels.
The location of the course provides not only stunning scenery of the ocean & lagoon beyond but also adds to the challenge of the course as the wind invariably plays its part. A well bunkered course which also introduces some water hazards on the back 9, large greens and wide fairways provide some forgiveness and provide a fun & enjoyable challenge. An increasingly popular golf break destination for those seeking some sun-drenched fairways.
