Designed by the acclaimed architect David McLay-Kidd and officially opened in October 2023, the 18-hole golf course is unique with the outstanding quality of its design, maintenance and customer service.
The par-71 layout won instant acclaim in 2023, including being named as the ‘World's and Europe’s Best New Golf Course’ at the 2023 World Golf Awards and being ranked ninth in Golf World magazine’s respected industry poll of the ‘Top 100 Golf Courses in Continental Europe’ for 2023-2024.
Dunas, the first of 2 courses created for the complex, cuts a glorious path through the native sandy areas. A long time in the making due to the financial crisis, McLay-Kidd has created a course that would not look out of place on the Melbourne sand belt. Destinated for further accolades & arguably the best course in Portugal already, a must play for any serious golfer, and with the sister courses of Torre now open, this is a truly world-class bucket-list resort.
