Course Overview
The Torre Course at Terras da Comporta marks the first full golf course design by Masters champion Sergio García. Nestled just a few kilometres from Comporta’s pristine Atlantic shore, the par 72 layout spans approximately 6,670 metres from the back tees and unfolds across native sandy terrain accented by pine forest, rice paddies, and panoramic views of the Serra da Arrábida.
García’s design emphasises strategic shot making over sheer length. Expect risk and reward holes, narrow fairways, and small, precise greens, all framed by large sandy waste bunkers that blend seamlessly into the natural setting. The course draws inspiration from Valderrama and pushes play toward accuracy and thoughtful positioning. With six teeing positions per hole, it caters to a wide range of golfers—from beginners to seasoned players—while remaining both challenging and playable.
Set to become a new benchmark in Portuguese golf – alongside it’s already world-renowned sister course the Dunas - Torre combines technical demands with understated elegance.
