Course Overview
Set high above the Costa Brava coastline, Club Golf d’Aro – Mas Nou is one of the most scenic golf courses in Catalonia. Designed by Ramón Espinosa and opened in 1990, the course is situated over 300 metres above sea level, offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean and surrounding mountains throughout the round.
The 18-hole layout is a par-72 course that weaves through pine and cork oak forests, combining natural elevation changes with wide fairways and large, well-protected greens. Strategic bunkering and a series of water features provide challenge without overwhelming the average player, making it enjoyable for a broad range of handicaps. Its design balances playability with visual appeal, rewarding thoughtful shot placement rather than brute force.
Known for its tranquil setting and excellent year-round conditions, Golf d’Aro offers a peaceful yet engaging golf experience in a unique hilltop location. The course is complemented by a traditional clubhouse and full practice facilities, making it a well-rounded destination for visiting golfers.
