Infinitum Golf - Costa Dorada
Course Overview
Infinitum Golf, located on the Costa Dorada just south of Tarragona, is a premium golfing destination featuring 45-holes across a striking coastal landscape. Each course delivers a unique style, collectively offering a well-rounded and varied experience.
The Hills Course, originally designed by Alfonso Vidaor in collaboration with Magí Sardà, is set amid pine woodland and rocky terrain, reaching over 300 m in elevation with sweeping Mediterranean vistas. The undulating routing makes full use of natural contours, and several holes carve into cliff-edge quarries—creating dramatic and memorable playing conditions. A significant renovation led by European Golf Design (Dave Sampson) is underway (2024–26), aiming to refine bunkering, tee positions, and sustainability with new turf and ecological improvements.
In contrast, the Lakes Course, designed by Greg Norman, is laid out over flatter terrain adjoining a protected wetland. Water comes into play on numerous holes—14 of 18 are influenced by lakes—producing a tournament-level test of precision and strategy. The course hosts DP World Tour Qualifying School events and underwent a major bunker renovation alongside a switch to more sustainable turf.
The compact Ruins Course, also designed by Greg Norman, is a nine-hole layout nestled among archaeological Roman ruins. Though shorter, it preserves the resort’s high design standards and offers a scenic, engaging diversion—perfect for a post-lunch afternoon round.
Together, these three courses at Infinitum Golf provide a comprehensive offering: from elevated, dramatic hillside golf and water-rich, championship-style holes to a charming nine-hole route steeped in history. The resort’s commitment to tournament-quality conditioning, modernisation, and environmental stewardship makes it one of northern Spain’s premier golf destinations.
