Son Muntaner is known for its immaculate conditioning and strategic layout, with wide fairways flowing through gently rolling terrain framed by mature pines, olive trees and native Mediterranean vegetation. Although the driving areas are generally generous, the course rewards precision into the greens, which are fast, subtly contoured and carefully protected by bunkers and water hazards. One of the most distinctive features of the course arrives at the par-5 15th, where players must navigate around “Na Capitana”, a remarkable olive tree believed to be more than a thousand years old and officially recognised as a natural monument by the Balearic government. The back nine also provides several memorable moments, with picturesque tee shots framed by the surrounding hills and glimpses of Palma beyond.

Son Muntaner has firmly established itself as a respected tournament venue and is the only golf course in the Balearic Islands included in the European Tour Destinations network.
