Course Overview

Located just a few minutes from the centre of Palma within the exclusive Son Vida estate, Son Quint Golf is the newest addition to the prestigious Arabella Golf Mallorca collection, joining its sister courses Son Vida and Son Muntaner. Opened in 2007 and designed by Ramón Espinosa in collaboration with Kurt Rossknecht, the course is a modern 18-hole, par-71 layout stretching to just over 6,000 metres from the back tees. Set high on the hills above Palma, it enjoys sweeping views across the city, the cathedral and the sparkling Bay of Palma.

Unlike some of the island’s more demanding championship courses, Son Quint was created with playability and enjoyment firmly in mind. The layout features wide, forgiving fairways and open approaches, allowing golfers to swing freely from the tee while still requiring thoughtful positioning to approach the greens effectively. Strategically placed bunkers and occasional water hazards add interest throughout the round, ensuring the course remains engaging for more experienced players as well.

The course flows across gently undulating terrain lined with Mediterranean pine, olive and carob trees, giving the round a distinctly Mallorcan character. The front nine is generally more open and forgiving, while the back nine becomes slightly tighter and more strategic as it winds through natural woodland and hillside slopes.

Several memorable holes stand out during the round, particularly the elevated par-3 8th, which offers panoramic views across Palma and the surrounding coastline before playing down towards a well-guarded green. Later in the round, the long par-5 17th provides a striking tee shot with the green visible far in the distance, creating a dramatic and rewarding challenge.
