Antalya Golf Club - Belek

Course Overview

Located in Belek on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, Antalya Golf Club is one of the region’s most established golfing destinations, home to the championship Pasha Course and the highly regarded PGA Sultan Course. Set among mature pine forests and natural sandy terrain close to the Mediterranean Sea, the club has become one of the leading venues for golf in Turkey, combining two contrasting championship layouts with excellent practice facilities and a strong international reputation.

The standout layout at the resort is the PGA Sultan Course, an 18-hole, par-71 championship course designed by European Golf Design in association with David Jones and opened in 2003. Measuring approximately 6,477 metres from the back tees, the Sultan Course is widely regarded as one of the most challenging golf courses in Belek. Narrow tree-lined fairways, strategically positioned bunkers and water hazards that influence play on many holes place a strong emphasis on accuracy and disciplined course management throughout the round. Fast, undulating greens further increase the challenge, rewarding precise approach play and a confident short game.

In contrast, the Pasha Course offers a more forgiving and playable experience while still retaining plenty of strategic interest. Opened alongside the Sultan Course, this 18-hole, par-72 layout measures approximately 5,731 metres and winds naturally through pine and eucalyptus woodland with wider fairways and less penal rough. Although more accessible for higher handicappers, carefully positioned hazards and subtly contoured greens ensure the course remains enjoyable for golfers of all abilities.

One of the defining features of Antalya Golf Club is the contrast between the two courses. The Sultan Course provides a stern championship test often compared to leading tournament venues across Europe, while the Pasha Course delivers a more relaxed and enjoyable resort-style round. Together, they offer a balanced golfing experience that appeals to both low-handicap players and holiday golfers alike.

Antalya Golf Club has also developed a strong tournament pedigree, hosting numerous international amateur and professional events over the years and helping establish Belek as one of Europe’s premier golf holiday destinations. Combined with excellent year-round conditioning, extensive practice facilities and its proximity to many of Belek’s luxury resorts, Antalya Golf Club remains one of the most popular and respected golf venues in Turkey.
