Kaya Palazzo Golf Club - Belek

Course Overview

Kaya Palazzo Golf Club is an 18-hole championship layout designed by David Jones and opened in 2007. Set among mature pine forests, natural sand ridges and landscaped water features, the course offers a traditional Belek golfing experience with a strong emphasis on playability and strategic course management. Measuring approximately 5,900 metres from the back tees, the course is generally regarded as one of the more accessible championship layouts in the region, making it suitable for a wide range of handicaps.

Unlike some of Belek's longer and more demanding tournament venues, Kaya Palazzo Golf Club places less emphasis on power and more on accuracy and positioning. Tree-lined fairways, well-placed bunkers and a network of lakes and streams influence play throughout the round, rewarding golfers who carefully plot their way around the course. The layout makes effective use of its compact site, creating a varied test that remains enjoyable for both experienced players and those visiting Belek on a golf holiday.

Water is a defining feature of the course, coming into play on numerous holes and adding a strategic element to many approach shots. Several of the standout holes require players to decide between a more aggressive line and a safer route, creating a number of subtle risk-and-reward opportunities without becoming overly penal. The course is complemented by mature eucalyptus and pine trees, while views towards the Taurus Mountains provide an attractive backdrop on clearer days.

One of the strengths of Kaya Palazzo Golf Club is its balance. The fairways are generally generous by Belek standards, but strategically positioned hazards ensure that accuracy is still rewarded. The course conditioning is consistently strong, with Bermuda grass fairways and greens providing good year-round playing surfaces. Extensive practice facilities, including a large driving range and short-game areas, further enhance the overall experience.

Kaya Palazzo Golf Club has earned a reputation as one of the most enjoyable resort courses in Belek. Combining a pleasant woodland setting, thoughtful design and a welcoming level of challenge, it remains a popular choice for golfers looking to experience golf in Turkey without the relentless difficulty found on some of the region’s championship layouts.
